Haven't they caused enough death and suffering already? As long as the US/NATO act the way they do there will never be any peace. If the situation was reverse and a pro Russian group made a statecoup i Mexico and Russia formed an alliance with the new government, killing and shelling every area that did not fall in line while Russia builds bases and put up their missiles at the border to the US, would they still say that it was completely unprovocative decision by Russia? It is even worse for Russia since the people that were being massacred by Ukraine since the civil war started in 2014 were the Russian speaking population were the majority still identifies themselves as Russian's. I do not think Ukraine shelling kindergardens, stores and schools makes them anymore supportive of the new government which took power by a violent state coup either. Russia will never forget how the nazi's trapped and burned all those people alive in Odessa.
