KayakDIY personally owned a 2012 Hobie PA14 at the time of filming this event, but sadly had to sell it shortly after to fund the future purchase of a 2017 Hobie Tandem Island. KayakDIY was told he could likely get on the Hobie Fishing Team via a local dealer and be gifted a Hobie Tandem Island but then KayakDIY could only promote Hobie products. KayakDIY couldn't agree to only show Hobie products because people of all budgets (including kids) watch the channel and KayakDIY strives to remain non-bias and transparent. That decision cost me $6,699+tax. So I hope you as viewers understand how important you are. I hold no regrets. I would love to join the Hobie fishing team if I weren't held to that stipulation.
