Here is a story of a General Contractor choosing to do the electrical on an addition. When tragedy happens the insurance companies may not cover it since a General Contractor in some states are limited on what electrical they can perform under their license. Check what your Contractor can do for you and they are suited for the job. Your Homeowners policy may stipulate that businesses working on your home have their own insurance and can deny claim when this happens. The story shared was done anonymously to help others. If you have a similar story about anything related to your home or squatters and want to share by email or would like to be interviewed on camera. Please email [email protected].
