Over the Wire - Mike Byer

This video is from the Grunt Style Foundation Deployment concert at Ft. Campbell in March of 2023. Mike Byer performs "Over the Wire."

This song was part of Operation Song's program to capture the stories of veterans and turn them into songs. This particular song tells the story of Mike Byer, who after working on this piece with Operation Song went on to become the Executive Director of the organization.

This song captures the portion of Mike's life, just after service, and his coming to terms with his son's decision to follow his example of service to his country.
