Shure MV7 USB Podcasting mic, UNBOXING!

Unboxing my new Shure MV7 USB podcasting microphone. So far I am very happy with the product. The sound quality is great and when compared to my old microphone it's an immediately noticeable difference. The mic on auto mode is really the selling feature. It will auto-adjust the volume depending on your position to the mic. This is especially good for creators that are animated and move around while shooting. Keep in mind, to really use this mic to its full potential you must be within 18 inches of the mic at all times. The audio drops off very quickly if you move more than two feet away.

This mic is really meant to be used with USB, either directly into a computer or even the phone that you are shooting video with. This comes in handy for those that are trying to get content out quickly without needing a high end set up. The one downside is that the mic requires the app in order to be used with the phone/computer and it does not always sync which can be a pain. I have not yet found a fix for this other than restarting the phone/computer. This one hiccup is keeping me from giving it a 10/10 review, but if I can get that fixed in the near future I would be happy to change that.

Either way, I am very excited to start shooting high quality sounding videos with this device!
