"The Parable of the Madman" | Friedrich Nietzsche

"The Parable of the Madman" was first presented in Nietzche's The Gay Science (1882). In it, an atheist enters a village of atheists and laments that God, the moral framework and foundation of civilization has died under man's search for knowledge, reasons, and science. After hearing this, the village falls silent, attempting to comprehend the enormity of their worldview, and all they know having been pulled out from under them.

I presented this reading because I didn't find another one on YT that I liked very much.
