What does this FF newbie think of the most divisive game in the series?

Developed and published by Square, Final Fantasy VIII is a JRPG released in 1999 for the PlayStation. A remaster came out in 2019 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Windows, and Xbox One.

I completed FFVIII in early 2021 and made this video based on a review I wrote soon after finishing the game. I've played a few more FF games since, so it'll be a little while longer before my videos catch up with my progress.
