Google technology expert Charity Mhende shared the top trending topics on Google for April, covering entertainment, culture, science, sports and food. She joined us on Thursday, April 27.
In entertainment, the Barbie movie and Coachella festival captured significant attention.
Cultural events such as Passover, Easter, Eid al-Fitr and Tax Day dominated searches, while Earth Day and National Park Week were popular in science. Nail art emerged as an odd news trend.
In sports, the NBA scoring record, Masters Tournament and pickleball garnered interest.
