Tim Scott Reacts to Sunny Hostin: ‘I’m Not the Exception, I Am Actually the Rule’

NAVARRO: “... speaks about things like after the police shootings in — in — against African-Americans in 2016 he did some speeches on the Senate floor —“
Goldberg: “Mm-hmm.”
NAVARRO: “— that were incredibly impactful about what it’s like to live in America, what it’s like to live in the south. Let’s remember he’s from South Carolina, in the skin of a black man.”
HOSTIN: “But yet he ignores systemic racism.”
Goldberg: “Yeah.”
GRIFFIN: “No, but —“
HOSTIN: “He pretends that —“ [crosstalk]
NAVARRO: “But what I’m saying to you is, they’re not hearing it from Tim Scott, they’re not hearing it, period.”
GRIFFIN: “I think —“
NAVARRO: “At least he’s adding that.”
HOSTIN: “But I think one of the issues that Tim Scott has is that he seems to think because I made it, everyone can make it, ignoring again, the fact that he is the exception and not the rule. And until he is the rule —“
GRIFFIN: “ But he has —“
HOSTIN: “— then he can stop talking about systemic racism.”

TIM SCOTT: "I believe in the gospel. If you break into my house, I believe in the Second Amendment and will make sure we defend everything in this country. We have to disprove their lives by our actions. The host wants to be judged by the content of her character and not the color of her skin. America is a story of evolution and to many of our schools indoctrinating our kids instead of educating. I am not the exception. I'm actually the rule. Every kid trapped in a failing school can look at big labor unions and blame them. Every parent who wants a choice, look to the Republican Party, the GOP African Americans, Hispanic and Americans, they all agree on school choice. What is in the way of providing a child with a better education or future? The radical left."
