A Defense of One-Way Streets in Hamilton

Wokism is nothing new in Hamilton, Ontario. It has been gaining steam for at least forty years.

When the Hamilton Spectator published the report, "Push for two-way streets gains momentum" back in late 1996, or early 1997, I knew Hamilton's woke politicians would latch on to the idea like bulldogs.

It had nothing to do with safety, business improvement, or beautification. It had everything to do with the growing climate change cult and its attendant War on the Car.

As the conversion was insidiously implemented, the strangulation of vehicular traffic predictably followed.
