A 2022 report titled, "Giving Trends and Opportunities", conducted by Philanthropy Australia, found that unlike the famous images of Australian mate-ship and egalitarianism, Australians give considerably less in philanthropy than the UK, and Canada and both New Zealanders and Americans give more than twice as much as Australians!
