How to Use an Autoscrubber to Strip Floor Finish

Autoscrubbers are a great tool to strip large amounts of VCT floors that have a finish on them. The stripper solution is applied to the floor via various different methods.

The autoscrubber is used to agitate the stripping solution with typically a black pad, however, there are many various colors and degrees of aggressiveness available.
Once the area has been scrubbed, the operator drops the squeegee and sucks the loosened finish from the floor.
One more pass over the floor with the rinse water full on, and the floor is ready for a finish of choice.
