Origin:
Anterior and Lateral Surfaces of the Body of the Femur

Insertions:
1-Base of Patella via the Quadriceps Tendon
2-Tibial Tuberosity via the Patella and the Patellar Ligament

Functions:
Extension of the Leg @ the Knee Joint

Nerve:
The Femoral Nerve (L2, L3, L4)

Activation: (Seated) Extension of the Leg
Lengthening: (Prone) Flexion of the Leg
