PUNYO SINAWALI STICK DRILL WITH JKD SIFU MIKE GOLDBERG

As an instructor of Jeet Kune Do ( Sigong Bruce Lee's Method of Self Reflection ) I saw great potential in the Filipino fighting art known as "Pekiti Tirsia Kali" which made me to look at things from a different perspective like the interwoven pattern known as "Sinawali" which is shown on the internet primarily using the tip of stick as the point of contact, whereas, I saw the butt or ( punyo ) part of the stick as being more relative to me since I generally, have a gardening tool on me and use the hammerfist or the outside of my forearms ( hack ) as my primary weapons and the "punyo sinawali" seemed more appropriate for me to practice. Though I'm NOT a certified instructor in PTK, I was blessed to have studied directly under Grand Tuhon Supremo Leo T. Gaje in Houston, Texas back in the 1980's along with his student Tuhon William McGrath. As a self defense instructor I had to incorporate what I had learned from these knowledgeable gentlemen.
