Joe Appiah Launching The Nationalist Party Of Ghana After The Ban On Political Activity Is Lifted

Hundreds of party supporters and sympathisers travelled from all parts of the country to attend the launching ceremony. Some of them carried placards and displayed the party's symbol -- a broom and the cob of the corn.
Police stood by in case of any disturbances although they were not needed.
