Governments all around the world are adopting this monetary blasphemy, and I believe governments worldwide will soon force their citizens to use central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). And for us Americans, the wholesale CBDC starts in July with a retail CBDC right around the corner. The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is already piloting their international cross border retail CBDC (code name Icebreaker) right now. A CBDC will enable all sorts of horrible, totalitarian things like the ability to track and control every penny you earn, save, spend, confiscate and redistribute your wealth as they see fit. Central Banks will establish expiration dates on your currency, impose deeply negative interest rates, punish and reward people in ways they previously couldn't with a China-styled social credit system. CBDCs will be touted as a "solution" by providing future economic stimulus and fighting money laundering and tax evaders. CBDCs will be the solution for our dollars demise and a currency reset.
