Did David Irving Abandon Holocaust Denial?

In this 2016 clip, the man who was once the world's foremost Holocaust denier repudiates most of his former views—by acknowledging that Jews of Europe were systematically murdered by Nazi Germany. He even accepts the mainstream estimate of Jewish death (5 to 6 million).

Notably, Irving also appears to back away from his previous denial that Auschwitz was an extermination camp, insofar as he acknowledges the liquidation of the Hungarian Jews in 1944 (which happened at Auschwitz).
