The Cholera Graveyard

Holmen is a small island between Obbola and Holmsund. On the island there is a burial site for those who died during two cholera epidemics in 1854 and 1866. There are 25 people buried at this site. Unfortunately I couldn't read the inscription on the stone as it is worn out.

This small hiking trail is 300 meters long, through the woods to a BBQ area. I did the trail in reverse, starting at the grill area, heading back to the cholera graveyard.
