The trip to drive the New C63 was held in a very exclusive press trip in Malaga Spain with #MercdesAMG - involving Askari Race Track and driving around the country to get a feel for the new 4-cylinder hybrid AMG (bye-bye V8).

Press trips are one of the staple ways we get access to new content for us car journalists and influencers - and when it comes to #Mercedes and #AMG, the trips are especially well constructed! But there's a lot of misconceptions about what these trips entail — many think they’re some easy holiday, others think we get paid, and the assumptions go on. The reality is a little different! And today we want to give you your first glimpse behind the scenes of how we work at RBR on these trips!

We will take you through the A to Z of press trips with AMG. Starting with our travel from London Heathrow, the rigmarole in-between, and how cars are allocated and routes/food/help given on site. There will be a bunch of C63s to choose from too, saloon and wagon form, and I’ll show you all the specs available! We’ll also give the car multiple starts so you can hear the new C63 E exhaust on start up.

During this trip, we also covered the new S63 E Performance, so we will share some BTS of that part during the vlog!
