Ephesian 5 says:

Children of Light

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, 9 for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth. 10 Test and prove what pleases the Lord.

11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness (S2041 Deeds of Darkness-deeds done in darkness, and then harmonizing with it), but rather expose (S1651 EXPOSE: to convince with solid, compelling evidence, especially to expose -prove wrong, reprove, refute, confute, find fault with, and to correct.

To call to account, show one his fault, rebuke, and to demand an explanation. So, this is our main goal! We do what the Bible tells us to do in these instances!

12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself.
