Power of the Anointing!

In today’s live stream, Joseph Z teaches more about false anointing, with reference to the book of 1 John 2:27 which exposes us to the understanding of a false anointing. He explains that people who do all the right things for all the wrong reasons are under the influence of a false anointing; the wrong reasons are mostly for personal gains and to gain access to people. Also, the book of II Peter 2:15-16 lends more voice to the attributes of the falsely anointed(false prophets or teachers), and we’ve been cautioned to stay away from these people or the likelihoods of what they represent.

Moving on, Joseph employs the word of the Lord from the book of Jude 1:16 to explain further how the false prophets flatter people to gain an advantage over them; we also see more examples of people in the church who give great gifts to the church so they can gain control over the church for their own personal benefit. He went on to use the story of Ananias and Saphira from the book of Acts 5:1-11 to describe the subtle acts of false anointing; however, Isaiah 10:27 enlightens us more on how we can handle false anointings.

Moreso, Joseph went further to explain that true anointing destroys yokes, delivers, and would cause us to break out of our bondage; real anointing ministry will always cause us to live in liberty and would enable us to discover our gifts to the glory of God and for our own happiness. He went on to clarify that equipping and edifying are the true opposites of false anointing, and anyone with a true anointing will put the body of Christ before everything else.

Joseph concluded by reminding us that Jesus wants us to win more than we do, and he prayed that we break off of every false anointing.
