CORPORATION OR PARTY?

What is occurring in Forsyth County under America First leadership is what has not occurred under establishment CORPORATE leadership for years in most counties. In 2014, attorneys were recruited to form a corporation formed around the Georgia Republican Party, called the GRP, Inc. While the party has members, the corporation does not. Yet, they maintained RULES marketing “member” terminology 100 times.

Chairman Shafer has leveraged many opportunities to exercise corporate control over the state and counties, viewing some as “corporate opposition.” One member of the state executive team recently stated that they had never seen the appeals process weaponized against Republicans until last year, under Shafer. This has created abusive factions and conditions in the party that have irreparably injured both individuals and the representative system in Georgia.
