Morning Manna - May 26, 2023

The price of eggs is 70% higher today than it was a year ago. Bacon cost more than last year. Prices for bread and orange juice have jump too. It’s easy to see that the simple American breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice cost a lot more in 2023 than it did in 2022.

The good folks over at the Wall Street Journal have a suggestion to help you cope with rising food prices. Writer Gabriel Ruben said that to save money perhaps you should skip breakfast.
