Speaker McCarthy lambastes Biden's arrogance for refusing to discuss debt ceiling

'I think it is a sign of arrogance that he would say he wouldn’t even discuss it.
Think about what the Democrats have done just in 4 years. They have increased discretionary spending by 30%. When the Republicans were in the majority for those eight years, discretionary spending didn’t go up one dollar. And we know that we are sitting at almost $32 trillion in debt. How can you do this to a future generation?
And anything we do, why don’t we sit down and talk, especially with something as serious as debt, as serious as debt limit. Why would you want to wait until the end?'
