UFC fighters aren't paid a fixed salary. Instead, they sign contracts for a certain number of fights with each fight paying a fixed guaranteed amount. As such, the more often a fighter fights, the more money he or she will make. While the UFC does not have an upper limit, the most times any fighter has ever fought in a calendar year is 5. Eleven fighters have been able to do this in UFC's history. The first to do so was Middleweight Chris Leben. The latest to do it is Andre Fialho. Neil Magny did it twice and he along with Kevin Holland and Roger Huerta are the only fighter to have won all 5 fights in a calendar year. Unsurprisingly, champions do not feature on this list as multiple 5-round fights in a year would be too much. 6 fights in a calendar year could very well be one of the most elusive UFC records.
