Bulls are on the grass buffet. With the recent rains our pastures have exploded with new growth of forage. The bulls certainly are taking advantage of the lush grass and are building their body reserves for breeding season. Succulent forage is the best thing that you can feed a breeding bull to get them in shape for breeding. When these bulls are turned in with cows they breed them and keep their weight on without being fed grain.
