The First War

Why are there only two preparatory states mentioned in the revelations of God which lead to the endless state entered into after the final judgment of man? (Alma 12:24) Why are there no other consecutive estates according to Jesus Christ via His prophets? What was added upon those who kept their first estate? What are the laws of glory that pertained to us in our first estate? Will the sealing Jesus Christ gives his disciples be powerful enough to protect them through to the end of the millennium?
