INGREDIENTS :
1 kg chicken thighs ( 35.2 oz )
230 grams ketchup ( 8.11 oz )
60 grams dark brown sugar ( 2.11 oz )
35 grams honey ( 1.23 oz )
30 grams black treacle ( 1.05 oz )
25 ml apple cider vinegar ( 0.84 fl oz )
10 ml Worcestershire sauce ( 0.33 fl oz )
20 ml vegetable oil ( 0.67 fl oz )
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke ( 2.46 ml )
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder ( 0.79 grams )
1/2 teaspoon onion powder ( 0.98 grams )
1 1/2 teaspoon paprika ( 1.15 grams )
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder ( 0.64 grams )
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper ( 1.16 grams )
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper ( 1.16 grams )
1/4 teaspoon salt ( 0.58 grams )
INSTRUCTIONS :
.place chicken thigh in baking dish, season under side with salt & pepper
.turn over & season with salt & pepper
.place in preheated oven 180 c / 356 f for 25 minutes
.in a mixing bowl add 230 grams ketchup, 60 grams dark brown sugar
.add 25 ml apple cider vinegar, 35 grams honey
.add 10 ml Worcestershire sauce, 20 ml vegetable oil
.add 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke, 30 grams black treacle
.add 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
.add 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
.add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
.add 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper & mix well
.remove thighs from oven & remove excess juice
.separate sauce in half & brush on both sides of chicken ( top twice / bottom once )
.place back in oven for 10 minutes
.brush more sauce on both sides of chicken ( top twice / bottom once )
.place back in oven for 10 minutes
.store leftover sauce in fridge
