I saw them perform 2 months before Woodstock at Tanglewood (outside boston).

BB King opened for them who opened for "The Who" who gave us the newly released "Tommy."

I was 15 at the time and it was the greatest concert I have seen till today. I smoked my first joint there and I remember thinking that Grace Slick (who wore the same outfit which matched Roger Daltrey's) was the SEXIEST woman I had ever seen. - JW
