Lean on God’s understanding

Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

If you can’t trust a son or daughter of God, it’s not them you distrust, it’s God who you don’t trust. Why? Because the Holy Spirit operates in them guiding their choices, thus you can’t trust Him to make sure they are aligned with the Father’s will. If they waver, it’s His responsibility to correct them. He's knows in advance their plans and can course correct any mistakes they'll make.
