The Quantum Luminiferous Aether: Webinar M – Dense Stellar Objects

In this webinar we’ll start by describing a particles in a box modeling for dense stellar objects. We’ll then apply our model to white dwarf stars and find that it is a good fit to observations. From there we’ll apply our model to neutron stars. We’ll find that our model has difficulty in explaining supermassive stars, and we’ll discuss a more speculative model that does lead to a good match to observations.
