WISDOM BITS - adopt a child or have a child? Torn in between?

This society wants you to think that this world is too bad for you, that the outside is horrible and that living in distractions and ignorance is much better. Why would the Metaverse exist, and one may even have babies in there (no longer having to really go through the challenges of having a real child). This way of social programming will have people want to act like this:
1. Ignorant people will love being as far as possible from responsibilities, so they will immediately comply. Moreover, they won't care about any sensitivity of life, so they will simply keep having children irrespective of consequences or how badly things go in the world.
2. More sensitive people will simply move away from having children, heeding to how "horrible" the world is, and obviously not wanting to bring children in the world. This also means that minor quality of life will still be mainly brought in the world, allowing for simple-minded people to grow in society, therefore people easy to rule.
Live it easy and your life will become more and more difficult.
