Zombie movies feature morphed or degraded humans who have no worth or value. Movies which feature them typically spend 80% of the screen time seeking to escape said zombies, yet, never seem able to accomplish this task. The movies are tiresome and wicked, and generally leave one feeling exhausted after encountering them. World War "Z" broke this theme and generated a surprising return on investment of 2.5:1, where most zombie movies fail to break even. So, why bother making them?
