Our Chicken’s Foot Fell Off... Was it Frostbite?

So, while checking on the chickens the other day, I found something on the floor of the run that piqued my curiosity. A quick headcount assured me we weren't missing any chickens, so further investigation was necessary. What I found was both surprising and slightly horrifying...

We think it was related to a cold night he spent outside. The other chickens have been hassling him, not really letting him into the flock. Chicken's feet are very susceptible to the cold, and if they can't roost properly, this is what can happen.
