Liberal MP: Banning legally owned handguns will have little impact on gun crime

During Third Reading of Bill C-21, Liberal MP for Yukon Territory, Brendan Hanley, very eloquently spoke on behalf of his law abiding constituents, including data published by Statistics Canada data that has been largely ignored by his own party.

For example, citing the findings that in Canada, 79% of solved homicides with a firearm found that the perpetrator did not possess a firearms license. Mr. Hanley did an amazing job delivering his final statement on C-21 on May 17, 2023.
