👉 Final Episode - The highlight of my trip to India was staying at the magnificent Taj Palace Hotel. The hotel is steeped in history, having played host to numerous celebrities from all around the world, including the Beatles, presidents, royalty and many Hollywood stars. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that left us feeling like royalty. The chefs at the hotel were truly amazing, preparing a spread of Mediterranean cuisine fit for a king that was simply out of this world.
Our luxurious room provided us with a stunning view of the surrounding area, and it was clear that no expense had been spared to ensure our comfort. As we looked out of our window, we couldn't help but notice the large crowds of people milling around the hotel. It was as if we were staying in a palace, and the feeling was truly surreal.
During our stay, we visited the famous Leopold Cafe, which still bears the scars of a terrorist attack with visible bullet holes. It was a stark reminder of the complex history of the region, but it didn't detract from the incredible experience we had at the Taj Palace Hotel.
The hotel's unique architecture, a beautiful blend of Indian, Islamic, and European styles, was awe-inspiring. From the grand staircases to the domes and arches, every detail was carefully crafted to transport guests to a different era. The 285 rooms and suites all boasted a mix of old-world charm and modern amenities, making our stay truly comfortable and unforgettable.
The food at the Taj Palace Hotel was a real highlight for me. The chefs put together an impressive menu that included both traditional Indian cuisine and more familiar options. For breakfast, we had the opportunity to try a range of dishes, from masala dosa with a potato filling to Paratha made with radish and pickle chutney. And the butter milk with herbs and spices, although new to me, it was the perfect complement to the meal.
Overall, staying at the Taj Palace Hotel was a truly magical experience. From the warm hospitality to the incredible food and luxurious accommodations, everything was simply outstanding. I will forever cherish the memories of my stay and hope to return one day to relive the experience.
