My treacherous sons decided amongst themselves to split the empire in 3 when I died. In our already weakened state, this would have all but destroyed our great legacy. So, with a heavy heart, I did what I had to do. I had my servants kill them. The problem was that I was too old to create any new heirs. There was however a way through this. The mystics of the Bomdan have a ritual to tether my spirit to this world even after I die.

After I awoke, I found that I was tethered to my throne. Administering the empire from a single spot is difficult but is not the only problem. One of my sons survived and ran off to the city of Ma Hoang. He plans to take over the loyal lands of Hon Sai and seize the throne for himself. The mantle of Baihon Xinh is mine and no delinquent corrupt son of mine will destroy what little legacy we have left!
