Original description - "This is my original marimba quartet, “Moonlit Metropolitan Balcony”. I composed this quartet in 2007. This tune was largely inspired by American pop culture and music of the early 1990’s. I can imagine this piece’s dance-like, edgy groove as a backdrop to a nighttime scene, as one looks down on a moonlit city skyline from a balcony toward the top of a tall building. What do you all hear within?"
