Geofencing: How Your Location Data is Abused by Big Tech

You may be completely unaware that your location data is known at all times by Apple and Google. Google has shown in court documents that it provides this data to law enforcement by looking up people found in any geographic area at a certain time.

This is used selectively. For example, it was used in the Jan 6 Capitol riots.
Courts have repeatedly questioned whether the use of this is an abuse of the Fourth Amendment (on unreasonable search and seizure).
