May 31st marks the last day that individuals with pistol braces had to register their "SBR"s to obtain a tax stamp while still avoiding the $200 fee. As of June 1st, if you are caught with a pistol that has a stabilizing brace and you don't have a tax stamp associated with it, you are breaking the law.
