I love these surge protectors because they are more than enough to protect my sensitive electronics! It is recommend that a surge protector be rated for 2,000 joules, this is rated for over 4,000!
I love the size, number of outlets and the peace of mind it gives me!
This is one big stout surge protector with a very thick grounded cord. I just cant seem to have enough of these around here. I dont think there is a area in this house that I dont need more than two things plugged in.
We are on COOP electricity and they do surge the lines at times for those always unknown reasons. I do know that it is very hard on electronics and motors (pool pump) and always told to unplug during lighting storms.
These are a piece of mind for those times you cant be home, or too difficult to get to everything.
This is the 2nd Amazon labeled product that I have purchased. I am very satisfied with the price, the quality of the 12 outlets (and spacing between each one), the modern design and the lighted power on indicator.
Its hard to believe this was not the most expensive surge protector.
The weight and solid build of this surge protector made an immediate impression out-of-the-box: this device meant business.
An extra-long 10 cord along with 12 power outlets showed this device could provide for a roomful of electronic devices without the risk of overload one might encounter with a small, discount store power strip.The chunky, utilitarian design aesthetic consigned this device to "life" behind a small decorative piece of furniture.
However, to assert its presence seemingly, two very bright green lights were illuminated upon turning on the device, and these lights remained illuminated any time the surge protector had power and was on (see photo).
These lights became distracting when watching movies in a darkened room because they were so very bright. Were it not for the lights, this surge protector would be just perfect.Provided bright green lights wont bother you, I recommend this item.

I have many devices that require surge protection and none of them have the number of outlets required to get the job done but this does. The high end surge protectors can be very expensive.
This device is priced reasonably and it allows me to shut down an entire circuit of devices in one shot!
All of these devices that have these huge square power adapters and some of them are on a left or right angle which takes up the space for the other outlets.
This gives all of my outlets room to breathe. I dont have all of my devices plugged into the surge protector in this picture; however, I have done it with no issues.
For the options that I have now I think this was a great investment for the piece of mind in knowing that all of my devices have ample surge protection and can all be completely powered down with a click or a button.
I just put it up in my home office. Takes all the plugs I have and leaves some for me to use. I can't give it a 5 star because I just plugged it up. I like the light.
