#RyanJett after his KO: "Hitting someone with Bare Knuckles feels like cutting through bricks"

In a catchweight bout at #BYB17 in Rock Hill, local hero Ryan Jett handed Trevor Ollison his first bare knuckle defeat, winning by TKO in round one.

This is how Ryan describes the moment of the knockout: "It happened so fast, it was all a blur. I got mad that he caught me first. That never happened to me before. I usually land the first blow. Then I ended up catching him with a right hook, dazed him and finished the job."

Ryan loved fighting in front of his home fans and had some fun pretending to hit his opponent during the weigh-ins: "I hadn't fought here in a long time, it felt good. I wanted to have some fun with it and was just playing around, being myself. They said I had no self-control because I got disqualified in my last fight. It was a little play on self-control."

This is what he thought about Trevor Ollison's antics during the weigh-ins: "He was trying to rile me up, he is a jokester. So he was trying to get me to take him lightly. But it didn't matter. I'm gonna get mad every time I fight anyway."

Ryan enjoys bare knuckle fighting because it's all about striking: "When you take the gloves off and hit somebody, you are cutting them open. You feel everything. It's more serious to me, you are really getting into a fight."

This is how Jett describes the sensation of hitting his opponents with bare knuckles: "When you hit them good, you don't feel it at all. It's like the guys who cut through the bricks. They don't feel it. If you don't cut through the bricks, it's coming back into your hand."

These are the characteristics Ryan feels every successful bare knuckle fighter needs to have: "Grit, a great chin, you can't be scared of gore and have a huge set of ba***".

This is who he wants to fight next: "Give me anyone of the Top 10 fighters or one of the UFC guys. Let me beat somebody up they say I'm not supposed to beat. My stock is up, get in now because if it keeps getting up it's gonna get more expensive next time."
