Why could artificial intelligence be so dangerous?

Artificial Intelligence can become very dangerous to humanity if it receives the capability to self-learn. We cannot allow it to program itself. We could literally lose control and it would have a mind of its own and become unstoppable.

Artificial Intelligence lacks empathy, emotion, compassion and love. It would have no God or Source connection. So, if it learned that humans could end its existence it would have no concern developing a survival plan to wipe humanity out.
