Fidelity Predicts $1B Bitcoin by 2038! It Sounds Crazy, but it's Based on Math and Patterns... 📈

After the 2012 Halving we saw a 2.8x price increase, after a gain in price from less than a penny to $12 per BTC. After the 2016 Halving we saw a 3.93x price increase after a 1.4x gain in price from 2012 to 2016. After the 2020 Halving; Bitcoin rose from $8k to $58k, a 6.74x increase after a 1.75x gain in price from 2016 to 2020. If this pattern continues after the 2024 Halving, we will very likely see a 6 figure Bitcoin in 2025 after a 2.4x increase in price from 2020 to 2024. By 2038, this will translate into Bitcoin hitting close to, if not exceeding, $1B a coin.

While Bitcoin has dropped 7% due to the Debt Ceiling Crisis, this is a common theme throughout Bitcoin's history and not concerning for the long term value. The price is constantly going up, no matter how sawtooth the gains.
Bitcoin is volatile. But that volatility works both ways. Assets that are not volatile are stagnant. Gold is a great example of this.

We are now seeing the highest hash rates ever, the lowest Bitcoin kept on Exchanges (most BTC owners are now opting to self custody their Bitcoin with a hardware wallet they control), over 1 Million wallets now contain 1 BTC or more, approx. 70%+ of the Bitcoin purchased goes into a wallet and never leaves (people are buying, not selling), we see the most Bitcoin adoption among the public ever, multiple countries making Bitcoin legal tender, multiple presidential candidates making Bitcoin part of their campaign. Bitcoin is never shrinking. It just continues to grow and grow. Very similar to internet adoption.

Refusing to notice these patterns or hate on Bitcoin while refusing to understand it, will be a financial mistake that will span multiple family generations with "I shouda-coulda" regrets. I advocate that EVERYONE should own at the least 0.1 Bitcoin. Right now that will run you approx. $2,720. Plan on holding it for 10 years on a cold storage hardware device. I promise you that after that time your only regret will be that you didn't obtain more.
