The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: New Technologies of Biopower | Simon Elmer

Simon Elmer discusses the move from the juridical framework, by which we were ruled for two years by coronavirus-justified regulations, to the regulatory mechanisms of biopower being imposed now, with specific emphasis on Digital Identity, Central Bank Digital Currency, the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and the World Health Organization’s Pandemic Treaty.

Simon Elmer was born and lives in London. In 2002 he received his PhD in the History and Theory of Art from University College London, and he has taught at the universities of London, Manchester, Reading and Michigan. In 2015 he co-founded Architects for Social Housing, for which he is Head of Research.
