Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse HUGE $17.5M Thurs Box Office Open

Breaking: UPDATE - Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse Set for BIG BOX OFFICE Open | $16M Thursday Previews | Spiderman Spiderverse | Spider Man | Spider Verse Box Office

Spider Verse took in $17.5 Million on Thursday night previews which is flat out ENORMOUS for an animated titles. That's second place behind only Incredibles 2 which then went on to open at around $180M domestically.

As it stands now, Spider-Man Across the Spider Verse is expected to reach $150 Million + globally by Sunday, but I sense it's going to easily beat that by a decent bit. And with a well controlled $100 Million production budget, the Spider Man Spider Verse Box Office should be an easy hurdle for this film to jump for profitability before it even reaches it's financially lucrative afterlife with third party licensing to places like Netflix.
