Urging Governor Edwards to Send the Louisiana National Guard to Help Secure our Border

State Rep Charles Owen: "A few days ago, 25 House members joined me in sending a formal request to Governor John Bel Edwards, urging him to respond to any requests from the State of Texas regarding securing our southern border. The federal government has done a terrible job at maintaining our nation's security from a border standpoint, and I believe if Texas requests our help, we should send our highly capable forces"
