First off, I am very impressed with this pump. I purchased it to replace the small pump that came with my Bestway 10x30 pool, and after just two days of use, I can already see a major improvement in my pools cleanliness.
One important tip for other users is to use the small adaptor for the output to ensure a good snug fit, and to use the hoses that come with the pump.
While the tubes may be larger, this accommodates more water flow in and out, which is a major plus for effectively cleaning your pool. I find that running the pump for about an hour and a half is more than sufficient for my pool size.
While I did have to return the item due to its size being too small for my 18 x 9 x 52 pool, I would still recommend this pump to anyone with a smaller above ground pool.
The pump is definitely worth the money, although we did have to replace the plastic clamps with metal ones for better suction.
In addition, I suggest cleaning your filter or replacing it often if your pool is used frequently, as this will greatly aid in ensuring your pump is working at its best intake.
Overall, this pump has the power and reliability needed to clean your pool effectively. While I did experience a small drip around the pump hose, hopefully tightening the clamps more will alleviate this issue for my small 10x30 pool with a 1,000 gal pump.
