The Apkallu and the Patriarchs of Early Genesis

Are the Apkallu of Sumerian and Akkadian myth connected to some of the partriarchs of early Genesis? This idea doesn't fit well with traditional views of early Genesis, but the Christ-centered view of the text suggests intriuging possibilities. Some have wondered why, if the account of Adam was a truly ancient account, the myths of surrounding peoples make no mention of him. Well, perhaps they do.....
