Episode 46: Newsom's reality check, and California's public-policy failures

In this solo episode, I recount California's numerous public-safety and public-policy failures over the past few years: water mismanagement, increasing street crime, subsidies & support for drug abuse, Prop. 57, homelessness, etc. Gavin Newsom is now being forced to sound like a voice of reason (partly) because he is trying to finagle a run for the presidency. So that might mean that reparations will be a "no way" and critical water projects might actually get built (over the objections of the fanatical environmental zealots).
